so i "we" have to start tonight because of our travel schedule. I will be going out to get the 5 - and we'll do it as a rank, since we won't be here next weekend.
won't post until results start coming in. will post "in order"
 
The Sierra Nevada was a special run. Stone is difficult. Perhaps replace with Victory storm king

It will OFFICIALLY start Monday March 30. I will start a new thread on Monday (will provide link here). That thread will seed them based on their online ranking. #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3. You'll have Monday thru Friday to compare them. And then sat /sun for champ game.

As indicated above you'll have Monday thru Friday to compare #1 vs #4 and #2 vs #3.

Then, I will post the championship matchup Saturday morning and you'll have Saturday and Sunday for the championship matchup (feel free to do a consolation matchup if you wish).

Btw please let me know if you have trouble finding any of these. I have a feeling that there might be an issue right now with the ten FIDY....please let me know if you have trouble finding it and I'll call an audible. Both buy rites near me were out as was the whole foods. Whole foods,had the founders. The other two should not be hard to find at all.

Perhaps consider as an emergency replacement for tenfidy if people can't find it. Gotta say through, based on its online rating (eg, only an 88 for its style on ratebeer.com) it would be a distant 4 seed compared to the others.

@wonderturtle, is there going to be a competition next week as well? To be honest 4 beers, m-f is a lot for me but if is only for one week I think I can imbibe. Its bike training season for me, I'm trying to moderate beer intake. This contest is 2 months too late:)

I am sensing little participation in this one. See no reason why we can't stretch it out a bit. Do the semi-finals (1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3) this Monday thru Sunday. Then the following week we do the finals (and consolation game as option). Still coincides with NCAA tourney schedule (kinda).

Anyone with a preference?

Probably won't do next competition until summer (weissbeir or something). Probably keep those to 1 week...if you can't drink a total of 6 beers over a week during the summer then you shouldn't be participating ;)
