Identify this weed and tell me how to kill it...forever!

Hey all! A few of you are pretty good with your plant identification and gardening. I have this weed in my lawn that is slowly driving me insane. Grows incredibly fast and chokes my grass.

Tell me what this is and how to get rid of it before I cover my property with plastic and Jersey shore gravel.

I think that is chick weed or something similar. I have had it go app shit along beds and on bare dirt or where the mulch is thin. You can either spray the cramp out of it with a non weed safe spray or pull it. I usually pull it.

It looks like Spurge. There are a lot of readily available herbicides at garden stores to take care of it. This link also has some good prevention ideas to keep it from spreading.

We have it also. I make a point of pulling it every time I mow de Lawn. I know. I know....he said pulling it!
