World belongs to the bravethis is turning out better than expected.
this reminds me of the time I had to clearance my rear trailing arms so I could fit 8" rims on my galant without running some kind of wheel spares like a ricer @dillonVW

Unfortunately i didn't take many pics of the splints them selves, I shaped blue Styrofoam to the inner dimensions of the tubes, wrapped them in unidirectional carbon fiber then I epoxied the splints into the tubes using "loctite hysol" adhesive epoxy with chopped up strands of carbon fiber to fill any voids after that cured I wrapped the outside of the tubes with more unidirectional CF running in different directions with each layer, sanded smooth and repeat the process 2 more times to get to the finished product.I'd like to see more pics of how you rejoined the stays... layers inside, outside, how/what you used to fill the tube interior, etc.
I am beyond impressed with this project. So psyched to see the final result!Unfortunately i didn't take many pics of the splints them selves, I shaped blue Styrofoam to the inner dimensions of the tubes, wrapped them in unidirectional carbon fiber then I epoxied the splints into the tubes using "loctite hysol" adhesive epoxy with chopped up strands of carbon fiber to fill any voids after that cured I wrapped the outside of the tubes with more unidirectional CF running in different directions with each layer, sanded smooth and repeat the process 2 more times to get to the finished product.
