Honey stinger products are wonderful.

other brands: I have issues with many of the "gels" make my tummy 😛uke:
The "chews" seem ineffective are are hard for me to chew with all my dental problems. Many of the bars are just yucky tasting.

So Jason from Halters tells me to try the Honey stinger products.
:hmmm:

Well,
The gels were yummy and made my tummy 😀 as well as seemed to give me a bit of energy.
The gummies while yummy didnt seem to give me or ***** any energy, but they were yummy.
But the best was the Chocolate bar! Oooooh! Yummy indeed! easy to digest. felt like I was eating REAL food, and gave me enough energy to do a few rounds at the 6M/Giant affair today.

Honey Stingers gets a thumbs up from me!

Yeap big fan. Their new gels are really good too.

The waffles are awesome and can someone ban the word "yummy". Yummy tummy gummy. I'm dizzy.

I'm currently Working on a bi of strawberry waffles and a box of chocolate waffles. They do get smashed up in a jersey pocket but I don't really care. They are easy to open and eat while riding

For me, these products rarely give me a quick "boost". It's more about eating from the beginning and keeping stuff (calories) going consistently into my body so that I don't get tired or sluggish in the first place. If I have a "oh crap, I need something for energy", moment then it's too late. I probably shouldn't have gotten myself to that point in the first place.

Having said that, I do agree the Stinger stuff tastes better than any other stuff I've tried.

I really like Honey Stingers, including the new Chocolate version. If you look at the package, though, it doesn't have much in minerals and vitamins like gels or energy bars. They are essentially Stroopwafels, which you can buy in Costco.

That being said, it would be the only bike food that I would actually eat if I were off the bike, like watching TV.🙂

I used to be all about the waffles, but ate them so much that I kinda got sick of them! Now the stinger chews...those are AWESOME!

the waffles are the only thing by them I do not like, ugh like dried vomit.

not yummy in my tummy, or yummy gummy either.

Sorry Dustin, you know I love you 😛

i agree with soundz that i dont get any kind of quick boost from any product i have tried yet. But i do consume the stinger waffles for sustained calories when i dont need actual food for being hungry. i will consume half to whole clif bar through a ride if im needing subsistence on longer rides. the clif shot blocks help with a prolonged energy support, i have hit a point where i felt a tingling in my teeth which will happen when my blood sugar gets low so pop a few shot blocks and will recover in about 10 min. they are great support products during rides but never to be used to correct poor nutrition lol i will have to try stingers blocks and gu when im out of my clif products.

You all know how much I like the energy bars, and the gels are awesome too. BUT...I had the opportunity to try one of their "protein bars"

I figure it is going to be like every other protein bar out there, and no matter how good it is it will be pasty, leave a funny taste in my mouth or in some other way put me off.

WOW was I surprised!

Honey Stinger Protein Bar in Chocolate Cherry Almond Flavor is INCREDIBLE!!!

It is not like eating other protein bars. You do need to drink water with it, it did make me mildly "thirsty". It is so yummy I would be happy eating them for dessert.

Love the waffles, was suprised to see them at Dicks. Picked a few up for today's excursion to White Clay.

I recently tried some honey stinger products myself (they were giving them out at Century for the Cure) and I like them. They also seem to be less expensive than clif bars or gu which is also another plus. My wife is trying to get them to donate some product for a 5k she's organizing, that would be cool!
