$3.71 this last bill.
Do you guys own your own tank? We had prices like that but then we bought our own 500 gallon tank to replace the one that was installed by Suburban before we owned our house. Cost $4500 but now we're only paying $2.08. The difference paid for the install after 4 years. Used Gas Tech from Pennsylvania
Are you talking propane? I just paid $2.679/Gal on 12/29. I didn’t buy the tank (yet) as is has an installation warranty.

I don't own my tanks. I feel a certain amount of loyalty to my supplier because they went the extra mile to set my tanks in a challenging location after Suburban showed up with tanks and bailed on me. Those guys can kiss my a$$.

I'm at >$5 per gallon based on my "limited usage" and spent multiple hours negotiating down to $4.50. It's a long story and I won't derail things here further but these companies all completely suck.

I can't see led lights being left on being the too much of the culprit. I know it doesn't help. I can't have too much light.

I think he just wanted to make the joke about the North Star. I admit it made me laugh.

Ok maybe not laugh out loud. But I was entertained.

All of us have absurd energy bills because we are wasteful Americans. We have a burn barrel in our back yard for $1 bills. When we get them we throw them in the burn barrel and set it on fire. I then harness the energy from the burn barrel to fuel a coffee grinder for the beans I have flown in from Ethiopia. I also club a baby seal each time I drink a cup of coffee.

All of this is true.
