Hole in tubeless tire. WWMTBNJD?

Pearl

THIS CHANGES EVERYTHING
I flatted yesterday on my tubeless ignitor I had. The hole is in the tread and is about the size of the tip of a pen. I pumped the tire back up with a floor pump and it held air overnight.

Do I trust this tire on a regular ride now?
Is a tubeless patch something reliable?
I don't want to have this flat on me again, in the same spot. I'm debating on just buying a new tire to play it safe.

WWMTBNJD?

As long as its not on the sidewall.....

I would patch it with a tube patch and I would not even worry about it after that.

I used some tube patches on a new python and it held for rest of the lifetime of that tire.

+1. Regular round tube patch on the inside of the tire worked for me.

J, is there a benefit to the actual tubeless tire patch vs. a tube patch? The vulcanized action of the tube patch glue seems super strong.

On my first ride on tubeless at Hartshorne I managed to tear a small hole in the tread of a brand new Conti X King. Had stan's spewed all over my seat tube. Tubed it for the rest of ride.
When I got home I cleaned out the inside good, glued a large tube patch on the inside, super glued the tread on the outside, let it dry and it's been holding good since then. (about 2 months)
