Heckle-cation the other months of the year.

This is great, I need more!

Love the payphone shot, those things are made of pretty thick plastic, so someone had to be pretty pissed or high.

my technicolor palm tree print "Miami Muscle" pants

Que The Fat Woman.

I'm not one to typically make fun of someone's weight or really any other physical traits, however this "woman" was a vile, loud, rude creature.

No pic of you wearing Miami Muscle pants?

Fat Women - when I saw that, I was hoping the story was going to include her as the women who sat next to you.

Days 2, 3, 4 and 5?

Been pretty busy vacationing, HERE IS SOME MORE FROM MY TRIP!

Day 2:
Got out a little before noon for a 50 miler. Spoiler alert we rode the same road for 4 days.

We had a north wind which blew us 25 miles down A1A. TALK ABOUT SPEED. We had been blowing by people all day and finally caught a young cyclist at a light. I grabbed his wheel and looked down to see we were doing 29 miles per hour. What? FOR 5 minutes. We rotated through and I held 28 for a short while then Zach took another pull for a few minutes up in the 28-29 range. We rode with this guy 10 miles to our turn around point.

Coming back north the headwind was pretty brutal. We ended up catching a two older guys at a light and they hopped on the train and drafted for a while. THEN we caught 2 more fellows from Toronto who also hopped on the train. No one wanted to help pull for 5 miles or so, then we got a decent rotation finally going after a few hard efforts by us young guns.

No photos from this day, womp. Deal with it.
More excitement tomorrow.

Spotted you out and about on the bike last night. Almost didn't recognize you with the severely trimmed down beard. Really expected to see more people out there last night, only passed a couple others.
Yeah dude! I started seeing people real late in my ride. If you're in the area I'll be riding out of Morristown a lot not that the weather is mostly breaking.

Song of the day:
Empyrean Abattoir by Of Montreal

I haven't gotten super into these guys but this song is real cool. The rest of the album kinda just blends together for me.

Happy Friday.

what are you doing sunday and why isnt it hanging out with me
Sunday was supposed to be a 60 mile road ride, then I went outside and felt the cold/wind/drizzle/snow and decided to take a trip to the Princeton record shop instead.

Then I realized how hungover I was.

Then I had the best falafel of my LYFE.

NEXT WEEKEND!?

I did one of my favorite once in a blue moon rides yesterday. The route goes out of Morristown via south street through New Providence, over the ridge, under 78, through the Watchung Reservation, up Johnston Drive, DOWN Johnston Drive, past Watchung Hills Regional HS (my HS way back in the day) through the swamp and back into Mo'town.

There are some pretty busy roads in there but I love the reservation and climbing Johnston Drive. My parents house is at the bottom of the hill so some days its great to stop for water and a leak. Yesterday was a particularly nice day to ride. Mostly from the lack of wind, and my fresh legs.

ON TACTICS
As I made the turn off Bonnie Burn onto Johnston Drive I started my climb. I had to fart right away so I stood, let one rip and at that moment invented the greatest tactical weapon in my arsenal. The fart was exceptionally loud and had a great timbre. My riding buddy immediately started laughing, SO I ATTACKED.

Also in stitches, I began motoring up the hill! My legs felt great but I had fallen victim to my own tactic and began laughing myself. This shot my heart rate up to 180 right away. I collected myself and thought maybe I shouldn't be attacking on a Monday. When I looked I had really put a lot of space and decided I should try for a PR. UP I WENT!

I felt strong but was 10 seconds off my best. I'm sure I would have been closer had I been prepared for my tactic and not slowed to wait. Still a good effort.

So yeah, farts are still funny.

Song of the day:
Megumi The Milkyway Above
by Connan Mockasin

Rest day for "weather," corned beef at my parents and laundry. I'm out of shammies, including both skin suits (which work great as base layers for our current temperatures.)

ALSO:
I'm looking for a tambourinist for my pre post hardcore-electrometalpop band "Post-mordial Ooze."

I would rename that segment "Fartburn"
