Day 3 did another 2 hr. early morning ride to wake up with the park animals.

Got out early this morning and caught a later train to work. 49 minutes and a 13 minute CitiBike ride means Day 3 is done.

LBI - I did quite a few rides on that island when my mother used to rent the family cottage in Ship Bottom. I quickly learned to ride south first and then back. Headwind to start, tailwind to finish.
Bummed I won't be taking part this year, but too much going on with work and a family visit to western NC are putting a damper on the days I can ride this month.

Day 3: Got a late start which meant riding in the worst of the heat. Ended up cutting it shorter than I intended. I’m up riding the trails at Beebe hill. If you’ve never been here it’s a hidden gem. 3/31 was a pretty chill ride at Hartshorne. Met up with @GreenMachine which was nice since he’s been off the bike for a while. My forearms got scratched to shit and some of the steeper trails were blown out from the recent heavy rain. I guess it wasn’t really that bad as I’m already planning to go back tomorrow...
