Hi all -

Just about one week away - we're psyched! Here's the 411 -
  1. We will have a pre-ride of the course on Wednesday, May 13 - meet us at the gate, wheels down at 6 p.m.
  2. Other course details can be found here. (course info, marking info, etc. )
  3. Food from the always popular Ruby Rose will be available on race day- bring your $$ for a yummy post race burrito or taco!
  4. RE: State Championships - in order to qualify for State Championship standings, you must a) be a NJ resident and b) hold an annual USA Cycling license.
Pre-reg closes on May 15 at 9 p.m. - save yourself a few $$ (to spend on your burrito!) and register today!
As always, any questions - info@teamtowncycle.com

Thanks all - looking forward to another great day of racing in the Jungle!

I've ridden both the cat 3 and cat 1/2 loops in the past 2 days. Course is looking good, people should get out there and ride. It's a technical course but there's not a ton of climbing so this is a great place for the mountain biker who likes technical riding to get out there and not suffer too much on any endless climbs. Of course it's not all flat but...

Question for @Team Town Cycle - where does Warthog dump into the lot? Is it going to be where those blue ribbons are on the trees or where it did last year?

Same as last year, top right of the parking lot heading left towards the "infield" area with the tunnels and paved walking paths.
+1 to gtluke - it runs clockwise out of the parking lot, slight uphill finish along the tree line (in the lot) . The parking lot finish does make for easy spectating for the stroller set!

Thanks for leading us around today, guys. Course looks great. Glad the fun parts of Warthog are in for Cat 3! See everybody on Sunday.

Now we can race!!!

How would you rate the technical factor versus the mooch and spring cleaning courses? Have never been to jungle but thinking of racing tomorrow anyway.

Its rocky, but not rough. They did a good job keeping things smooth despite all the rocks. If you've never been, you should definitely check it out

Does the show go on, rain or shine? There's a chance of T-storms for at least part of the day tomorrow, and a 100% chance of heavy T-storms tonight.

yea, the show goes on. Was there a couple weeks ago and was super dry. Would probably take a lot of rain to mess it up. But, with what the stupid Weather Channel is showing for tonight I'm on the fence myself. Rule #1 is to not look at the Weather Channel!

We're getting a little bit of rain right now, it looks like it will last another hour or so. To be honest, we needed it, knock the pollen down a bit, yea! They say it isn't going to rain again until around 2-3 p.m. - hopefully we will all be enjoying a post-race cocktail by then. Jungle can handle a bit of rain w/o issues - days and days of heavy rain are another story, but just like everywhere else, it's been bone dry here!

It's wet on the way up this morning. Weather says it's currently raing? Slippin n slidin in the rocks can only be fun right?!
