Christmas.
Anyone with kids that are my kids ages will know what a clusterbomb Christmas Eve is!! After we got home from our family get together, we had to finish wrapping presents and setting up the stuff under the tree, etc, etc, etc. By the time we were done it was like 2 am or some poop. Slept like 4 hours before the kids were up and jumping on the bed :drooling:
I tracked some of the reign deer food into the house to make it look like Santa made a mess. Ethan caught it. About 15 minutes later our house was trashed.
I asked my wife not to get me anything as I'm going away next week and I'm in the process of building up my new super-secret murder project. She got me something anyway, of course. A welding helmet and gloves for my class.
Afterwards me and the Hebrew Hammer took to the road for the Round Valley loop. Riding with Eric was nice because it kept me in check and well inside zone 1. Nice and basey, just it should be...
4 and change hours. Winner winner tofu dinner. Which is what I came home to. Tofurkey #2 for the year!! Nice. The in-laws were over in the evening and we just chilled out while the boys ran around like crazy people until they finally passed out. Then my wife slipped into one of her X-Mas presents (which was actually a present for me
)...

Boxing Day.
That reference is for my Limey friends!! Oi!! Capers, Dusty Balls, and DH Sean met me at my crib and we rode over to the Rock. I rode the Pugsley just to punish myself. The wind on the way there was brutal, pedaling that bike into a head wind on the road is not the funnest thing I've done
We went in on top of Vosseller and ran into Jeremy in the Miller Lot. Game on!! The Pugsley is a blast at the Rock. I'm not sure if it's a handicap at all there, the climbs are slow enough anyways. We did have to listen to Sean cry like Myerson the entire ride. Now that he's a Piney he's afraid of rocks. I checked at our pit stop to see if he still had balls or if we're too late and it's full vag.
Dusty was too Gangsta to help. I guess we'll never know for sure. Capers set the tempo for the trip home. Ended up at 3:20. I estimated 4. C-Rock has a way of becoming a cluster-F real fast. Besides Dusty breaking his rear rim, we had no mechanicals. Good ride to round out my 3-day weekend...
