It’s the nice vs. kind thing. You’ll get made fun of for being an idiot, but then a Volunteer will snowmobile your bag 130 miles to a Checkpoint.

I had to let all the NJ air out of my wheels to fit it in my bag. I’ll fill them with Alaska air when I get into town…

Elsa’s pre ride to make sure nothing was broken in transit…All of Anchorage is covered in like 4 inches of ice so thank Jesus I brought studs. Don’t need them in the woods at all but still, the lakes and ice roads to Butterfly Lake are gonna kill people. Like me last round 😂

It snowed about a foot this morning so I swapped to the 22t cog and loaded and extra day worth of food to get to Winter Lake. Supposed to be a ton of overflow North of Yetna, which means it’ll be best to stop there first night and let the river freeze. But who knows what will actually happen.
