Going Long and Hard.

I assumed the tracker was just not updating, but now it appears that Robert May got a much earlier start on the day. Jim started moving maybe an hour ago (ish).

I guess we won't get real time updates on what's going on. Maybe he ate too many PB Cups last night.
Ok this is addictive. Im watching little motionless icons. I havent done any work today. Its better than crypto market trading. And Im pretty much being serious.
 
Looks like he's back with RM.

91+ miles in so tonight they should hit the 10% mark. I also see this elevation profile and think things may slow down soon:

If I recall correctly, this next leg of the journey will be through Rainey Pass. It's not a precipitous climb, but it has a reputation for very challenging conditions (at least some years). Deep, drifted snow requiring pushing the bike, high winds, and poor visibility are all common. For this reason, the experienced riders much prefer attempting this during the day...which is just what Jim is setup to do.
