Yeah, at some point in history the Vreeland clan was strong around these parts, I see my name all over the place. Unfortunately, I'm a bastard child and know none of my biological family so I have no reference of when that might have been. I did buy one of those family name books a bunch of years back but I feel like it's hogwash.

PS- After the dust has settled it would appear that I've broken my Scapula, my ribs are basically healed. Or at least healed enough that they don't bother me unless I'm laying down.

So. Much. Fat. Seriously impressive rim. At 690 grams it's the same weight as a Marge Lite even though it's 100mm wide. Heavier than the HEDs of course but these should last 100 times longer than that garbage. Super stiff as well, when you grab the spokes and pull the rim doesn't flex. At all. Rear wheel is the same weight as my summer set of Marge Lites. Of course the winter tires are 400+ grams heavier. Each. Should stay under 22 pounds even with gears and huge wheels though. I am excite.

My new XC bike should be here by the end of the week and then the S-Works will get gears and minor winter prep.
