Going Long and Hard.

I'm not sure if I trust the carbon post with the big saddle bag though. Actually, I don't trust carbon posts at all so that may be next to go.

Cranks and ring is the same. Cassette, derailleur, and chain are heavier. As long as you're running a normal 11-36 geared 10-speed. Once you add a 42t cog and long cage RD they weigh the same.

How much for the next sl? Cinch correct? Do you have boot protectors? What's the spindle length?

$400 with a direct mount narrow-wide ring. 170mm spaced. I may have protectors but they don't clear the chainstays if you're running a 190mm rear.

These are supposed to be a cinch to use with other BB widths, so I assume one could buy/use a different width spindle for use with a non fat bike. Not sure if the cost of a new spindle is cost-prohibitive though.

S-Works in the wild.

How much lighter are the hed rims to nextie not that I would ever buy, just curious.

It's impossible to find words to describe how well it rides. Stupid light yet handles like a very well behaved trail bike. Extremely nimble without being twitchy at all.

The 85mm HEDs are pretty much the same weight as the 65mm Nexties. 400 something grams per rim. They seem too good to be true so I'm not planning on getting attached to them. I never realized how much better the wider rims ride over the 65mm rims though. I may not go back to a narrow rim again.
