Garmin 500 shows wrong temps

Anyone knows how ti fix it or something? It showed me average temp today about 31 which is not true. Coldest 19.5 while when I was starting it was 14....Go figure.

Does a garmin ever show temp accurately? I've never seen it - high and low
 
the first 30 min is always off regardless its 500 or 800. you can try to keep it outside. I also saw problem with Strava when all uploads had +10F.
 
After 40 minutes when I stopped to meet other riders real temp was 17. Garmin showed 26....there goes theory of keeping outside. I think I should ask Garmin.
 
The 500's normally are about 5f too high on their temps. My gf's does compared to my 800. Plenty of threads on the garmin forums.
