I just purchased Salsa Mukluk frame and Surly Mr. Whirly MWOD Crank Set. 😀
Now I will be looking for wheels and I’m a rookie when it comes to Fat Bikes. There are so many choices for rims: Clown Shoe, Rolling Darryl, Fat Sheba, Umas, Large Marge and so on.😕
The width of them range from 100mm to 47mm. Could you help me decide the size would be right for me? Right now I have 9 bikes, so the new Fat Bike will not be my primary trail bike. It will definitely be used for sand and snow riding, but also will be used on the local single track.
Tips on tire suggestions are also wanted.:hmmm:

On a Mukluk the biggest rim/tire combo you can run is going to be a 4-inch tire on an 82mm rim. If it's purely a snow/sand bike, go with the biggest you can stuff in there!!
So it'll be a Rolling Darryl and whatever tire you want. The Surly Nate is the biggest of the 4-inchers...The Husker Du is the most versatile...The 120 Larry is the lightest and fastest...
