When I worked at radio city building studios, I met Bob Costas, and Glenn Beck. Also did a job with my brother in law at Glenn's house in CT.

I've seen a few here and there in NYC over the years.... Robert Kraft, David Tyree, Henry Winkler, & Tea Leoni. Got autographed photos of Victor Cruz and Eli Manning at the sports photo joint in Chatham. Eli's a big guy, Cruz, not so much. Have pics with both.
But.... years ago at a friends wedding reception at The Waldorf Astoria, and Flava Flav was hanging at the bar where we were.

between working for Anheuser-Busch back in the day and then everything that went down with my daughters and Derrick Coleman, i think i can come pretty close to @mattybfat.

a couple that will resonate here:
-hung out with Jenna Jameson (when she was the most downloaded woman on the internet) at our A-B national convention in SF
-met Gary Fisher at Marty's. that shit was dope.
-partied with Don Sweeny (and a bunch of Bruins) in the Bud Box at a Red Sox Game. side note on don sweeny - dude had the largest thighs of any human i'd seen at that point in my life
-had beers with Tom Brady before he was THE Tom Brady. dude actually joke about being third string...then Drew Brees went down...then Damon Huard went down...then i was sitting at a bar in Alston like "hey, isn't that dude we had beers with at the Bruins game?" the rest is history.

Living close to Philly, I've seen mostly athletes out and about, or at the airport.

- Early 90's working for a company that was developing the Skycam system that's now at every NFL game today. Doing testing at the Vet and rode the elevator with Jim McMahon, sunglasses and all.
- At PHL leaving for a snowboarding trip out West heading through Houston. George Foreman steps out of a limo and I mention to my friends, there's Big George Foreman. He walks through us with a guy carrying his bag that looks like Spike Lee. After he passes, they all say, that's not him, he's bigger. He's sitting in 1st class when we board, the debate continues when we reach our seats. On the approach to Houston, captain makes an announcement mentioning George Foreman is on the flight.
- Another year's snowboarding trip from PHL, at the magazine rack in the terminal, scanning the covers. Cheryl Tiegs is on a cover, take note that she was on a cover. Notice a woman on the other side of the rack, and it's Cheryl Tiegs.
- Local wateringhole has been a stop for some of the Flyers. In '05 after the NHL shortened season, Derian Hatcher signed with the Flyers. Him and his wife walk in and sit next to me at the bar. I say welcome to the neighborhood, and he seems shocked that I know who he is. Chatted with both of them. He leaves for a bathroom break and his wife thanks me for welcoming them.
- The same local bar, Phillies manager Charlie Manuel would occasionally stop in. Nobody ever really bothered him. In the fall of '08 after the Phillies WS win, he was in there with his girlfriend. After finishing their meal, the entire place stood up and applauded on their way out.

Chatted with Jerry Springer at Stan's Bowling alley before a Yankee playoff game. Nice guy and knew baseball.
Met Carl Banks at hole in the wall cigar bar in Edgewater. Walked in to see if they had bathroom my son could use. Nice guy.
Went to high school with Jay (JJ) Mohr. meh.
Drank a few beers with Warren Haynes and Allen Woody outside of Wetlands after a show.

Thinking some more about this....

Yogi Berra -- He lived in Montclair and would always come to Henry's in Verona for coffee. He almost didn't seem famous.....
Ronan Tynan -- The Irish Tenor who song God Bless America at Yankee games... Flying from Dublin to London he was sitting in first class as we boarded. We fist bumped and he was wearing a World Series ring.
Blues Traveler -- Meet them a bunch in the early to mid 90's. Friend was a chef in NYC and he a had mutual friends. We hung at Wetlands and Nightingales a lot. Was at the video shoot for Defense and Desire filmed at Nightinjails.....

I use to see Indian Larry quite often at Coney Island and even hung out with him at his shop on Riverton St.

Here he is wearing a kaleidoscope necklace he just bought from me for his wife Bambi. He was always the nicest and most polite guy. His Mom and brother lived in Middletown NY
and I'd see them all at some shows at the fairgrounds.

Maybe... was it 84-91?

6th huh, she might know the Raymer family. Brett (now semi famous) is on the TV show Tanked. The father (on the show too) will definitely look familiar to any former member of the Baths.

1993 before Lollapalooza at Waterloo Village ran into Alice in Chains (minus Jerry Cantrell) in the Rockaway Mall. Had a chat and got autographs.

Over 10 years ago on my way to dinner in NYC ran into Robin Williams on the street politely said hello to each other and kept on our own ways.

Passed by Leonord Nimoy in Times Square just strolling in the crowd.

Tim Howard (US National team goalie) and my brother grew up playing on the same club soccer team.

Having been in the biz so long, the list is too long. Standouts include Les Paul, Ahmet Erdigan, Geoff Emerick, Jeff Beck, Steve Howe and Prince Charles, whom I accidentally called "dude", not even El Duderino.

We will have to start a new thread on Brooklyn as to not mess this one up.
I once met Marc Muller ! He played with some famous Jersey guy a few times.

My famous "meet and greets" are classical people, so the names may not be as familiar, but I've got some stories about other people;

In 2009(?) I met/sung under Kurt Masur, for one of his last conducting jobs in the US before he died. He was what I would call a "force of nature"; despite standing a little over 5', being largely skin and bones, and having late-stage Parkinson's, he had a stage presence I'd never seen before, nor since. He had to be escorted up to the podium in Carnegie Hall, and shakily rose his arms to conduct (to absolutely dead silence—a rarity if you've ever been to a classical concert); from the downbeat, to the very last note, he was as a man possessed by divinity—not a hint of infirmity or weakness. Despite having worked with several "big names", he remains the only person who I've ever had sign my score/program. Not to be preachy, but some things just make you believe in a higher power.

@Zaskar I personally know Ronan Tynan's long time collaborator/accompanist. They're both quality guys.
