It must have been an issue with the bolts cause the back lip that contacts the chainring itself was gone.

This is why you need to get on board with a middleburn uno or white industries and eliminate chainring bolts for SSing.

Agh, me and my big mouth. Sorry to stir the pot everyone. Anyone who knows me knows that even though I grew up bmxing, I'm probably more of a "roadie" now than anything else. <sarcasm>I saw a bunch of roadies crashing out there yesterday.</sarcasm> But honestly, I saw a lot of people crash in front of me. I always tell people that places like Fair Hill are super technical when you are going fast. It's pretty easy to get yourself in a bad situation when your avg for the first 5 miles of a race is close to 15mph.
