Fixed the fuel pump in my truck, then Matthew had Day1 of Fall Ball, then the boys wanted some tennis, so we walked down. 2.5 points.

Up early for stuff, then Jason had Day1 of Flag Football. Forgot my phone. Then the rest of the day got away from me. I realized about 9:30 I needed another activity this week. Could not convince Christine to take a walk, so 1 point only.

Hung out with @Ian F and Anthony for a bit. Had a non Halter’s sighing of the elusive @jdog & Tripp (don’t know his MTBNJ handle) saw @muddybike off in the distance. All in all a good day! Not sure how I can go back to riding Creek though. Just scratch’d the surface and it’s Sooooooooooo much better.

Gonna need an OOS field trip next year. Berms are like a billion times better.

Great day at the Santa Cruz Park Party with @Juggernaut , @jdog and others of the Halter's crew. I got 8 runs in before breaking for a late lunch and then heading to work. After three days of riding in a row (something I haven't done since the beginning of Aug) - and two of those days at Highland, my legs are wiped out.

I got a few runs in with jdog:

I'm really loving my MegaTower. It's amazing how a bike that handles my monster-truck riding style can also be so comfortable jumping.

Decided it was a good day to close the pool and then I figured why not record it since it will take more than 15 minutes and I always make 100 trips back and forth to the garage because I always need something that I forgot.

I guess while my Fitbit recorded it Strava doesn’t like it because of small GPS track so it didn’t sync. Boo summer is officially over.

Lucky for me I have a dog and she likes to walk on the leash. Even after running around with her for 20 minutes in the yard she wanted to go for a walk but forgot to take a pic. So instead I attached one of her after she put her favorite purple squeaky ring on my leg and waited for me to throw it while I lounge on the couch waiting for dinner to be ready.

So Salvaged a 1.5 pointer cause son #3 has his first cold of the school year and didn’t want to walk.

Sunday, Sept 15. Back in Boston for work. Drove up on Saturday and went for a solo ride on Sunday. Wife didn't join for the ride as we left her bike back in NJ.

I went for a late afternoon ride. After rolling thru Lexington, I hit the dirt trail in the Minute Man National Historical park for a few miles, back on the road and rolled thru Concord and westward then north. I cut it close with darkness, as I forgot that sunset is about 14 minutes earlier up here. Sunrise is 14 minutes earlier, but I'm not up at that time.

Spent Wed - Sun in OBX on an annual guys trip with friends from over 30 years ago. Spotty reception so I hope challenge calendar will suffice as proof of exercise.

M: Famiky walk, 2.5 pts
W-Sar: 2 pts / day walking with that motley crew. Actually should get the extra
5 pts family points because one of them lived with us for some time and they all called my folks mom & dad
