Drones overhead tonight (many)

there may be additional activity in the area (bedminster). They'll need to establish procedures again.
I didn't look up the activity in any of the apps.

Strange things happen when the wind is blowing like this. They may have been using runway 29 at Newark.
Which way were they flying? West?
Clear sky and wind, there would be no sense of altitude. And perhaps no sound

I mentioned this to @Glenn Rides After 4 PM CST last night after checking flight radar.....Last night they were using runway 29....meaning they were landing east to west....They dont do that very often so im assuming the wind made it impossible to land on 04 or 22 as they normally would.....I have yet to ever land at newark on runway 29. Also meaning that every flight coming in was turning north over his area, past my house in rockaway, turning over boonton, ringwood, then heading south....and there was a huge line of then

the bigger planes still use 4/22.
Regional jets can use 11/29 -
I've landed both ways - landing 29 is really strange - because it was clear, they would be using a visual approach
check the description - turn right at the train bridge!

PS - even the visual approaches are programmed into the flight director.

I saw 4 lights lined up last night while doing 287N just past rt 1.
They were locked in with little relative movement, coming at me slightly left to right -
no marker lights visible.
There they were!

until the lead one turned left and started moving more quickly - but the others still hung there.
well until it was their turn to turn left and follow the other PLANE along the same arrival route.

put it in the context that all of those guys are comedians and the format is just sitting around bs’ing, however the one guy describing what he saw in nj that has not been confirmed from any official source.

Been doing that since Dec. 2020. Basically just read headlines I see on Yahoo or Reuters when shit starts poppin' off in my FB newsfeed.
