i really like this app its great becasue if i ever wanted to ride a route that i have ridden in the past i can just pull it up on my iphone and its right there. it also record my average speed. the distance and pace. if anyone has it add me on it. the url to my profile is in my signature
 
i use it, however i log gps tracks with my handheld (magellan gps) and upload them to it, my username is the same as here shrpshtr325.

yeah, it uses google maps and you can just add your routes. I have all my road routes saved, I used to be pretty religous about upating the calendar so I could see my mileage but havent used it for a while. Also, I downloaded it for my iPhone but the gps doesnt seem to work
 
I used to use it till I got my Garmin. Good app seems limited to phones battery life though. It always died on me if I rode more than 2 hours. Droid battery life stinks on ice.
 
i use it for both but i also use a gps unit to draw out the track (magellan triton 500) and then upload the .gpx to mapmyride pretty simple really (and the gps unit was cheap, i spent under 150 for the gps everything to go with it)
 
Yes, I use it with my Garmin 705. It has come in handy when I travel to download local routes. I just used it for a recent Montauk family vacation and was able to download a 40 mile loop. It worked well!

I did have problems with the file transfer though? User error 🙂
