Trees down. 2 down on Around the Outside. 1 down on the switchback trail. See maps & pics attached.
Pretty good. Soft in spots with some muddy sections in the usual spots. How are the trail conditions?
going counter clockwise the wettest areas where right after you cross the power line for the first time and tuck into the woods. Rest of trail was decent. But yeah it could use another day. The new trail that starts at the old VW Scirocco wreck is very nice. Good work by the DM crew.Really good conditions on almost everything. Couple of soft spots, particularly the approaches to the skinny/plank bridge on King Mine/Yellow. I didn't bother riding any of Baker/Green as the start had two pretty mushy sections, and I knew that meant a bit deeper in it would be worse (on the other side of the field I think?).
Im trying this location out for the first time next week. Any recommendations on where to start and on bike set ups? I’m always curious what people like for their bike choice/setup at a specific park.
I’m on a Canyon Spectral with 140 front / 120 rear suspension.
Rode the new trail from the Frank St lot to the fire road; good stuff!
Heres my recent RWGPS track that hits pretty much the whole park including the new trail.Im trying this location out for the first time next week. Any recommendations on where to start and on bike set ups? I’m always curious what people like for their bike choice/setup at a specific park.
