Deer Park Conditions

The best tool for barberry is a mini x. That shit is the worst.
This trail was machine built except they built it through the barberry which was mistake number one.

How is the green trail? I haven't been on it. Is the entrance a mess?
Not too bad. Lower end rubbly (erosion). Upper 2/3 smooth. I had to dismount for a piece of vegetation in my path towards the bottom of the climb as well as at the end of the guardrail (overgrowth) before crossing over Rt604 from Morris canal to Green.

Got that second tree you posted and whacked the blue hill from barberry.
Got 3/4 of the center of barberry which lead to getting stung. Bummer as I only had about 25 yards left to call barberry complete.

Just cleared this little known highlands trail that's the 3rd option to Waterloo road. Pretty much has been used as foot traffic only but cleared deadfalls and massaged it for riding. It's the furthest from Kinney but closer to rangers station. I'll eventually produce a loop combining best of DP and using the whole bottom of Stephens from ranger station to tilcon. Eventually I'd like to produce a 4th option that bring you from ranger station to old parking lot as this maybe the easiest way into DP. As most know the other 3 are steep AF.
