Deer Park Conditions

The trail was hot disputed going back bobw days, mergs stepped in met the plumber myself and bobw at the parking lot. Trail got his approval with conditions of a reroute on the big rock roll and the plumber was granted lead of deer park with conditions to check in with bobw which unfortunately he dropped the ball on.

Man that's like 20 years ago. Do you think the park is ok with this trail as of today?

Absolutely it's the favorite, plan will be to put the trail around the rock roll so it can be ridden both ways.

The half tops of oaks seem to split off in wind.

Tops breaking off would not be so concerning to me. I am finding mature oaks, bases 20” and bigger, with the bases hollowed out when they fall. The White and Black oaks at Allamuchy and Stephens are rotted at the bases. I find oaks like that all over this area. In the last 3 weeks 2 oak trees fell and blocked rt 31 in Lebanon, both had rotted bases.

Did 20mi of riding in North and DP yesterday. Noticed all the great work Matt has been doing (brushback, route to new lot, etc). Rogue or whatever you guys want to call it now has way more trees down than I realized. A lot of rocks have been moved/rolled by bear.

Brush back good chunk of buck hill (parking lot hill) whatever the people's call it. Blade got dull I got tired but another 5hours.
