I'm looking for a new deep tissue masseuse. I have persistent neck and back issues from work and deep tissue massages help keep me loose on the bike. Private Owner place preferred. I've had minimal success with franchise locations in the past. Any one have an recommendations for one in the Somerset/Middlesex County area?

No rub and tug joints either before you smartasses get any ideas. TIA

There's a dude in Hillsborough, Therapeutic Hands Wellness Center, LLC. He is really good. My wife and I have both gone to him to have our IT bands loosened up. You can get a Groupon coupon usually for him to save some bucks and he has a deal on the website. I know it can be weird going to a male masseuse but he knows what he is doing.

I swear by the Graston or Asian guasha technique of massages. Hurts like hell against the bony areas like vertebrae and shins. If you are interviewing perspective professionals, ask them how they do the blocking technique, if they can't explain easily or confidently go somewhere else. Expect superficial bruising which will go away after a few days.

Walt, these look more like mummification tools! I swear the one in the middle is for pulling the brain out through the nose. 😱
