CX Tandems class

Hey racers, I just saw that Staten CX has a tandems class. "Tandems CX werld shampionsips", actually. This is so dope! Has anyone seen this before? How do they mount and dismount without kicking the stoker in the head?

This is the first year for this race to offer tandem I'm pretty sure. The class is sponsered by Tandems East from So Jersey and my understanding is the tandems race will coincide with the single speed class. Last I heard they need a few more tandems to pull it off or they will cancel the class. My stoker isn't too keen on racing(maybe its that whole kick in the head thing)

It would be even more interesting watching you try to get through the "circle of confusion" they had last year. They tried to make one of those big spiral things like at Wissahickon but failed terribly and ended up with little weird thing you needed to get off your bike and turn it around😀
