Commuting

yikes, sorry to hear that bfat. Hope it all works out.

Had a fun ride today adjusting the bike and testing the gearing. I think I'll stick with 42x17 fixed. I'm gonna be bouncing on the steeper descents but it's gonna be good for the roller coaster road to work. Gotta ride monday! :getsome:

thanks guys all good hear just some twisted steel and shattered plastic all can be repaired. Manny that combo should be perfect for just about any adventure that doesn't include anything long and steep...

Down the street, stop by your neighbor's bathroom, through the office building lobby, into an open field, onto a bike path, bunny hopt the parked car, and arrival. Not too shabby.
 
Well i laid low since the weekend before. Doesn't mean i didn't ride just kept it easy peasy, see i was dealing with some dead legs and needed a rest. Today told me rest is good my avg mph was up and my legs are fresh so back to the 2 hr days and ridiculous sundays.

Didn't commute this week yet. Can't wake up in time because I'm pretty tired from trying to hold the 7 day streak. Need to put in 1 hr today for the seven and then retire real early so I can wake up fresh for 3 solid days of commuting.

waaa, minus 5 points for not commuting when the weather is bad. yesterday was the 2nd day I commuted all month 🙂
 
Any takers for hudson drive to peirmont friday from gwb at 5pm? I haven't a clue but heard this is the route I guess. If not I will figure it out...
 
I might be game for early Friday but tomorrow and Thursday are going to be in and out. Friday evening I'm cutting out of work early, otherwise I would have been up for an evening loop.

If you need a GWB to piermont loop I can whip one together for you, just lmk.

Was out last night and had the sun setting in the West and the mad full moon rising in the east, was very cool. And cosmic.
 
Planet Bike Speed-EZ's in the hybid width. I've been happy with them, they offer great coverage and seem super durable. I was using them on my other cross bike that didn't have any mounts and moved them over to this bike when I set it up as my full time commuter. I have since bought a second non-EZ set since this frame has eyelets, but I haven't gotten around to putting them on yet since I really have no need to.
