Didn't mean to scare you off. :D

If he's interested in a new bike, I helped a friend buy a new Motobecane and they were very happy with the bike and the price. I just did some minor assembly and adjustment stuff when the bike came in.

If you you know someone who can do some basic tune up type stuff when the new bike get there, I think it's a great deal.

However, I can convert the Raleigh to SS if you want. :rofl:

agreed this is a good price on the motobecane my issue with any mail order is what do you do when it breaks bad..
if you are handy then it is not a problem if not then you probably better checking a LBS.
or if you are handy and your roommate is not then you are a builtin wrench for the bike.
as always this is just my opinion and what do i know...
