Cars, it's electric! Do Do Do

All you need is wind, waterfall or solar cells. What will run out first - gasoline or sunshine?
Where will diesel come from, unless you have your own biodiesel reactor.

Forget Armageddon, remember when Hurricane Sandy came through and the mess that made? I think my part of Wyckoff was without power for 11 days.
You seem to forget that the switch to electric vehicles and demise of ICE will result in an immediate solution of all climate change related problems and there will not be anymore hurricanes, snow storms, tornadoes etc. unless the government deemed one to be desirable and beneficial...

I listened to this podcast a couple of months ago but never got around to posting it.

It's a very interesting concept as it can keep current diesel tractors which do have emissions systems and can be efficient (especially if they are helped in carrying the load).

Stockpile a bunch of fuel oil tanks. Diesel doesn't go bad as quickly as petrol.

The gas water cans on the back are a nice touch...I guess after the armageddon it will be retrofitted with an old cummins 12V and you can use those to carry diesel.

I would really like to build up a 12v, 4BT or another OM617 vehicle just to have that one wire simplicity rig for anything could happen scenario.

Not a 12V but a 6.7 Cummins was still running after the vehicle it was in rolled over 10x at Pike's Peak.
