Car-spotting thread

@rick81721, I was there until about 1:30pm. I guess I missed you? The G80/G82 M3/M4 are growing on me. In darker colors to hide the buck teeth grille.

I spoke with the Sales Manager of BW BMW, who I bought my M2 from in 2016. They had a 2020 GT4 with 600 miles parked out front (way overpriced). 9/1 at 10pm in the middle of Ida, an unmarked flatbed with no license plate pulled in, dragged it up, and was gone. 4 minutes. No leads.

PS did you talk to the guy with the 911 Turbo S with the license plate that says: "8SEC DD"? Is it really a sub-9 sec quarter mile car??

Unless it is out in public with someone checking VIN's, or get pulled over or wrecked, how likely is it to be recovered? It could be wrapped in another color and go unnoticed, true? Especially if it is already out of state or country.

id venture a guess that its in a shipping container now or chopped up for parts. Like even my wife's 2018 outback...Christ it knows everything, so im sure once its stolen, could be quickly be found.....so probably best to never turn it back on.

Bummer - I got there at 2.

Speaking of Ida, I drove by Ziggy's bimmer repair on 206S in Hillsborough yesterday. Looks like they lost everything - all their cars are sitting with doors, hood, trunk open to dry out
I got there about when Carson left at 1:30. Drove the firebird over, how did we not bump heads, left before 3 after 50/50

I enjoy this kind of racing....im sure there is something like this for LS cars also...But NMRA coyote stock....totally stock/sealed 2015-2017 mustang GT 5.0 engine from ford.....ford factory tune, 7700rpm redline (which is pretty low for that engine)...standard H pattern factory transmissions, no clutchless 4-5 speeds....3100lb min weight. so 440hp or so running as fast as high 9's....and usually some sick wheelies

I have in the past. Big turbos, 100-octane, yeah, it's a sub-9 second car. AIM Performance did all the work and he really does drive the thing everywhere.

So much quality work and they couldn't even get SATUKN straight.
I marvel at it every morning when I get to the parking lot. I get the hand symbol underneath the handles, but the Maltese cross (if that is what it is) on top of them still has me stunned. I almost wanted to ask, with 'almost' being the key word.
