Car-spotting thread

Can I just say....I know they were one of the quickest 80s cars (well the GNX version was), no doubt....I used to go to the mustang vs GN challenge races at e-town so I have seen a million of them in every form of modded....they never did alot for me...Probably because they looked too much like my grand parents LaSabre and they sounded absolutely TERRIBLE....I mean the worst sounding engine outside of a rotary....and the interior was 80s GM awful...god those basket straps for door pulls....so bad.

BUT in 86, there was nothing faster from the factory in terms of 1/4mi, so that certainly counts for something....and cool that your grandma's car could take any corvette from that time....

Friend of mine has 1 sitting in his garage. Doesn't get used as much since Atco Dragway has closed. He's basically made it into a GNX.

@Rollin Dice

I went to school in Lewisburg, so much of what I have is in my brain. But this is one of my favorites. You can do a long day or make it an overnight and head back. There is something special about rolling through Shenandoah, PA in a car worth more than every house in the town (you could do that in a new Civic).

Also grab a Butler Motorcycle map and you can make adjustments to length.

So you’re a Bucknell guy, huh? Spent some time out there this summer and fall because they were trying to recruit my son. Can confirm the roads are very nice in that area. The drive would have been a nice fringe benefit if that was the school he picked.

Yes, some great roads out there. And VERY little police presence outside of the boroughs, towns.
