Car-spotting thread

LIKELY CRUISE DATES:

October 3, 1pm: Just a few hours locally. Relatively mellow as a 60s Camaro and a non-broken in C8 will be in the group. @UtahJoe this would be a good time to hang on with those drum brakes.

October 9 or 10: Trying to get something off the ground IF I don't go to OCMD for the weekend. Maybe just a run to Sunday Motor Cafe.

October 23: Bucks County Exotics Bridges Tour. More sightseeing than speed. @UtahJoe this would be another good option.

October 24 to 25: Overnight fall foilage and Anthracite Coal Region Plight Tour. Weather dependent. And if Bill can get the R8 PPF'd before then dependent. Rain date will be Nov 1 to Nov 2.

The Netflix documentary about John Delorean is really interesting. Ireland made it relatively easy to build a car factory from the ground up, and they were in the midst of super high unemployment so it was easy to find people to work. But not all of those people were necessarily qualified to build cars, and that combined with design flaws caused trouble.

Then John Delorean, in an effort to save his failing company, got involved in drug trafficking and was caught on tape by the FBI and busted.

Pretty sad story actually, I genuinely felt bad for all parties involved after I watched it.

I have upgraded to 4 wheel disc so it now stops like a 2021 f350 towing a trailer

23 24 25 might work. Likely will be in PA then. Keep us posted.

@Magic 10/23 would be us jumping on the BCX ride. It generally leaves from Warrington or Doylestown. So, not me organizing. But it's a fairly civilized pace from reports.
