Car-spotting thread

A) I don't see a lot of these Insights anymore. Even if reliable I wonder if people who purchased them put a TON of miles on them as that would make sense. They're neat from a historical perspective and I think cars like this are easily overlooked.
B) This person annoyingly parked horribly, I think just so they could have room to setup their bags and shoes. It of course lead to the cascade of bad parking because people couldn't fit in the spot next to it. Breakdown of society because one person was inconsiderate. Not sure if USAC sticker is a correlation...

2 spottings for the price of one while waiting at a stop sign right in my neighborhood.

Heard the Chevelle coming 3 blocks away due to my favorite lumpy cam sound and the sweet sounding exhaust. Maybe flowmasters or something with a deep tone. Pretty sure it was a 454 version

Then coming the other direction I hear that familiar buzzing noise of some kind sport car and here comes a Mcclaren 570 (just saw one last week too ) but I LOVE this blue.

FWIW If I had my choice I pick the chevelle very time.

Chevelle SS or the Fiero...
Alex I'll take the Cheveller. Ain't no room in the Mcleareoan for a person over 5 ft tall. Looks really cool.

@JerseyPete, Pete it was great. Super easy and very pleasant. Was well below invoice. Only thing is that there are only certain dealers they work with so you might have to go a bit out of the way. Flemington is 40 mins from my house. But it was worth it.
It will still depend on the dealer. Costco sent us to Towne Toyota in Ledgewood and the sales guy dicked us around for over an hour before we left and she bought a Kia.
I appreciate the feedback. I read online about more bad than good experiences. Sounds like Icebiker found a decent dealer.

Joined some friends at Das Laufwerk Euro Rally today at Hunter Mountain’s Oktoberfest. What an awesome day. All European marques welcome, though majority were VW and Audi. Handful of Bimmers, Porsches, and a 458. Apparently yesterday the Porsche club of Albany came by, but we were riding Elm Ridge that day ;-).

Interestingly no British marques and only one Swede. A lot of the VWs and some Audis were running bags. I don’t quite get that niche but it’s all good. The food and drink at Oktoberfest was great too. Leaves were at peak. We did a run through the gorge as part of a train of 20-odd cars, and on the way back my buddy (Sakhir F80) and me (F83) did a private backroads jaunt on some very smooth and twisty roads, chasing a Miata that really knew how to drive, and ended up in Woodstock. Totally worth the 2 hour drive. We’re planning to return next year. You should consider it to!

Forgot I saw this yesterday at Walmart parking lot. From where I was parked all I could see was the tire on the roof so I had to swing around out of curiosity. Looks like this rig could spend a month at Moab no problem.

Anyone go to the Lambertville car show yesterday? I couldn't make it but driving to Flemington on 202 around 2pm there were dozens of classics/hot rods/sports cars heading north. Must've been a big show

Today was tailed by unmarked cops day - first in Flemington, then Hillsborough. The Flemington car had 2 cops in it - they kept pointing and gabbing, thought they were gonna pull me over for noise.
