Hit up the Dodge nationals at Maple Grove on Friday to watch some Nitro qualifying with the family......If you havent done this yet, I highly recommend seeing these cars once in your life....11,000 horsepower ~130 decibels....0-330 in 3 seconds...like ALMOST as fast as @THATmanMANNY s tesla.

There was also a small mopar car show with some very nice cars

I have no idea if this car ever had anything to do with Richard Petty, but it appeared as if it might have been his car...no idea if that is true, but it was a pristine superbird.

OTOH some of you here may know the late Brian Hall. He was my 6th grade science teacher and he really influenced my education and adventure seeking life. His field trips included a NHRA drag race at englishtown and a camping weekend in south jersey. #rememberBrianHall

Love them Mopar's. For me GM first, then Chrysler. Ford... found on road dead. lol
As for a new 2020 vehicle, none of those manufactures would be on my buying list, or recommend list.

39 Plymouth deluxe

I did have to look this up since I cant see the grille...Its easy to tell its:
A. American
B. 1939-1941 (pre 1939 most cars had headlights on the fender and there were no cars made between 42-45...so that narrows it down.)

So then its either chevy/ford/Chrysler/dodge/Plymouth/pontiac/olds/buick..

Headlights on this car are pretty unique

Interesting, so here is the front. Original plates say 39 buy clearly has 40 headlights. Maybe it crashed and they couldn't get the original oval lights

Was this thing a cop car - it has lights by both rearview mirrors
these were pretty common accessories on cars in that era, probably bc the headlights were pretty shitty. Its not impossible that it was a police car...although in 39, there were probably more 2 door police cars than 4 door.

A car @UtahJoe could probably figure out.

All I know is it's probably American and made before WWII.

There was a 55 Chevy at the plant I'm working at. I was thinking of taking a picture, but they're so generic and boring.

Oh, and I find Superbirds hilarious. They're basically the ricer of the 1970s.

Ya that's the easiest of all 1930s cars, teardrop headlights were a 1 year thing for Ford....

And I disagree about the superbird since that wing and nose cone was actually functional.... I mean outside of sitting lower, the Nascar version of the superbird was basically identical to the street car.... And it did break 200mph in 1970 which was a first.
