I know it's not right but I'll say 426 Max Wedge, because I just love that name.
you're kidding, right?
This car turned my head.
I don't have one, I just don't understand how motley crue qualifies for best anything, that's all.No, why would I be? What's your submission??

Well they aren't your beloved Abba!
If you can ID this engine, you are a true car guy/gal. Bonus points for transmission and vehicles that were built with it.
No googleing
Yes sir!440/6pk, 727 trans
69 1/2 Roadrunner, Superbee
70-71 B-body, E-body
72 B-body
I've been following this rather close, the estimate is up to 4-5M. The owner did remove some body panels but mostly superficial. One door, passenger side, is supposed to have a 5 gallon tub of Bondo on but has a perfect gap, not that it matters. Whatever it sells for, it's going to be exciting to follow the bidding. I just hope it doesn't follow in the 1939 Porsche screw up this past weekend.I imagine it will be quite an event
Seriously...
I mean the guy paid what was an OUTRAGEOUS price for the car in the early 70s... $7400 iirc.... Kept the car original, didn't dismantle it, (see other bullit movie mustang)... More power to them. Hope it sells for 10M..
Had to check rotten tomatoes after your comment and they have the movie at 97% . I've never been able to sit through the full movie but like most have watched the chase scene at least 100 times.Ya...this POS, the bandit car, the delorean, bonds DB5, Eleanor, christine....I would say they are probably all close in terms of iconic, well known, etc. I can usually test this by asking my wife is she knows X car...if so, its probably iconic. Bullit as a movie was a complete piece of shit, and over 50 years old, so not sure if anyone younger than my mom would sit down and actually watch it.
Bullit has to be the most iconic car chase seen tho....I mean the 2 cars, the 2 drivers (Mcqueen and Bill Hickman)....Like Dean Jones drove herbie...thats not exactly Hickman, Mcqueen, Burt Reynolds, etc
69, nice! I dont imagine that was cheap.Had to check rotten tomatoes after your comment and they have the movie at 97% . I've never been able to sit through the full movie but like most have watched the chase scene at least 100 times.
Btw, the crazy neighbor found a new project now that the 67 GTO is done.
