When you put the new pads on, do the bed in. 😊Will replace them with metallic once I've used up the organics down some more.

YepWill Code brake pads work with DB8 brakes
OK, I cleaned off the pads and rotors with alcohol and moved the levers back to their original position. I did a quick before/after ride in around the neighborhood and I do feel a drastic difference. Lets see how it feels on the trails. BTW, the pads are organic. Will replace them with metallic once I've used up the organics down some more.
Don't torture yourself. Organic pads should be illegal. Just swap to metallic right off the bat.

Nope, not yet anyway. Are you gonna put them into different brakes?
they paywall popped up just when they were getting to the point ....I just read a long article on bedding in brakes. Apparently there’s a procedure that you’re supposed to follow

Threaded #44: Disc brake bed-in, a crucial, often missed step
A common answer to those noisy, shuddery, and inconsistent disc brakes.escapecollective.com
It’s the only paywall I actually pay. This is far and away the best cycling news and gear review site out there. No advertising- they make all their $ on subscriptions.they paywall popped up just when they were getting to the point ....
I hate when they do that. Plenty of videos on YT on how to do it though.they paywall popped up just when they were getting to the point ....
They always leave out that critical last step that the Escape Collective went into detail about.I hate when they do that. Plenty of videos on YT on how to do it though.
They're all in cahoots. That must be it.
Of all the bikes I've owned this is the first time I'm running into this problem. Bedding (or being able to) is not the issue, it's the combination of using organic pads and using them at the bike park. Didn't have any issues with my last bike park rig which is just an older version of what I have now and it had metallic pads. I should have known this to be the issue from the beginning. I'm putting the bedding issue to bed.
Just buy thisFor real right now. No one has ever bedded in their brakes, ever.
Just buy this

God Bless Capitalism! I bet the shareholders are happy about the cost savings on silly things like tools. But the branding on all those trucks - it's practically free advertising! Now that we're owned by a big brand, they make us share the same hex key set amongst all of the shops to save money. But they bought a fleet of trucks and hired drivers to move the hex key set around.
Still privately owned. Imagine how bad it could be if publicly traded.God Bless Capitalism! I bet the shareholders are happy about the cost savings on silly things like tools. But the branding on all those trucks - it's practically free advertising!
