Book of Paul H

My right leg is weird.... its been feeling a bit sore and stiff the last few days. I can't tell if its the lower hamstring or upper calf. Maybe its both.... IDK
Didn't do anything particularly strenuous. I think my last ride made it a bit worse. Could it be the coronavirus? Am I going to die?
Behind the knee? If so, I have thoughts on it.

It could be your hip flexors, it seems weird but it is the source of any behind the knee pain I have, which is especially bad during the winter when it is hard to get “loose”.

I can post a stretch that has worked good for me later.
ok, so the stretches for your hip flexors is not a very satisfying stretch, meaning it is hard to tell if you are stretching it. The best ones that have worked for me:

Lay on a bed, with your butt right on the edge, hang leg off bed. You should feel a gentle pull in your hip/groin area. Rotate and do other side.

The one that has been the most effective is:
stand with feet shoulder/or just under shoulder width (similar to your feet on the pedals). Bend knees alittle less than this and squat a tiny with your back straight (not bent forward like the picture)

Now, rotate your pelvis (wiener) forward and slightly up and hold for a few seconds. You should feel some stretching like around around your frontal groin area / over towards your hips. Yes it looks ridiculous and yes it looks like you air humping. This stretch can also be done in the saddle, by rotating your pelvis forward and up slightly. This stretch does provide some instant relief and I often it do it after riding, as your hip flexors will tighten up, especially when it is cold out.

I do these regularly and it has basically eliminated the back of the knee pain.

Things I wanted to do...
1. Rebuild Talon front wheel with QR hubs. Have the hub... but need spokes and nips. I thought I listed the spoke lengths somewhere on this thread but I can't find it.

2. Strip the Talon Niner fork to bare carbon. Once stripped... are you supposed to cover it with clear?

These were on my mind for 6 month now... but just been lazy and I wanted to start at least stripping the fork this weekend but no.... the freakin maintenance light came on on the Elantra and its my mom's birthday this weekend. Not to mention... will be working Saturdays for the next 3 to 4 months. Sucks to be me....

It's probably cheaper to buy a new carbon fork on e-bay, granted you strip it properly it's going to look exactly the same and you'll have ruined a proper fork in the process. Since it's an aesthetically based decision it doesn't make any sense IMHO.

Are you going for this look?

No crank or brakes? Looks like someone is living on the edge.

It's a shit bike. Buy a shit wheel. It could be cheaper than new spokes and nipples since QR is dead.

Not really. But also, make sure that if you use chemicals that they don't compromise carbon/resin.
But i already have hub...

Planing to hand sand the paint off
