Today was a crazy day out in Bedminster. The original plan was to hit the Columbia Trail today. I saw an accident on 78 on Google Maps. It turned out that 78 was closed and caused havoc in the whole area. The traffic you see below was literally parked on 78 and all traffic was diverted onto the local roads. Unfortunately, those were the same roads that are tranquil and serene for night gravel riding. There were tons of angry impatient drivers on the quiet dirt roads that are usually my happy place. It made the ride quite unpleasant. But I saw a lot of cows and that made everything better.

Finally back to the Carlton reserve singletrack after Ian devastation. They did a great job clearing 30+ miles of singletrack, getting ready for the piggies' revenge 20-40-60 mile rides in 2.5 weeks. I'm signed up for 40 mile's again.
