Back in the saddle after a few days off binging on Xmas cookies beer and too much food. Lucky for me our family plans of a small gathering are not until 5pm so I could sleep in and go for a ride late morning without anyone complaining too much. Skipped the road ride because of the wind but the CT was full of more than usual walkers taking up the whole trail and the mandatory dog off the leash “oh I’m sorry it’s running in front if you “ people.
Got to test out my new speed and cadence sensor set on the gravel bike that Santa brought me. Tight fit between the frame and crank arm but made it work without rubbing. Enjoyed the nice weather considering it’s the end of December.

Hey where's that at? I've only seen fix hunts in movies and TV shows. Did you heckle them??

On 514 over by Manners. I see them there all the time. It's hard to believe that they can still have fox hunts these days.

Very silly. I think they just chase them, don't even catch any. Should just chase robots/drones these days.

Rode out to Mendham from Madison with only a few miles on the road, then came back in on the road.

Yeah that new law they passed earlier this year is working great, isn't it? Some clown passed me super close today - couldn't wait 5 seconds to have a clear lane on the opposite side to move over 🙄

I have been on rides a few times and seen those groups in bedminster /bernadsville area. They told us it’s all just show and sport and they don’t even catch any foxes. But it’s amazing how a pack of 40 dogs are so well trained.

The new passing law doesn’t go into effect in NJ until 2022 but that also means people have to observe it which due to ignorance and/or not giving any f*cks remains to me seen how effective it really is.

A guy ran a stop sign and almost off’ed me today in Spring Lake. Rather than hit the brakes when he realized what was going on he gassed it and told me to f-off. Hopefully he is saving the world by recycling plastic bags and not eating meat. #hero
