Biggest loser

2/13:

188lb
-2lb this week
-17lb since 12/29

same as last week, except a stupid fall on ice at 6MR put my left thumb and right wrist on the pain train since last Sunday AM. I think I may have foolishly held onto the bars a few milliseconds too long, and jammed em both. Ice happens fast for sure.

took a few days off the bike to cry and such. Little things, like zippers, and opening up a yogurt or a cereal bar, still non-starters. WAAAAAH.

Managed to stil hit the 18X target on the scale, somehow didn't eat my way into a gain. Hoo-f'in RAH. I'll call it a painful win. I'm stickin' with it.

bunch of other life scheduled for happnin this week; I hope the weight loss trend corntinues. I will try to ramp the activity again when time permits.

stay the course !!!! spring is right around the corner. we all need to showoff the 12pack abs.

Nice work with the weight loss. FYI, my thumb injury was a result of a similar fall. Waited 2wks before seeing the dr. when zipper, buttons and generally anything was pretty much impossible. I've been off the bike since Halloween. Hope it's not as bad as what I dealt with.

Monday weigh in
Start 1/1 200.1
1/23 184.4
1/31 181.8
2/7 179
Today 175.8
This week's loss 3.2

Total loss 24.3

I can't believe it's time for another Monday weigh in, where the heck did this week go? Well my diet has still been Excellent haven't even had any cheats yet. I have also really kicked up the Intensity on the lifting and I'm seeing some nice muscle gain. This week I hit 79k steps so I've kept my self moving all week while at work. I also got multiple rowing sessions and a session on the bike trainer as well. The wyze scale keeps showing what I want it to show with fat loss and muscle gain I can't really ask for anything better right now things are moving along nicely i did some comparison picks to when I started yesterday and wow what a difference! Still more progress to be made. Keep it up everyone!

1/3: 206.4
Today: 181.6
Progress: - 24.8

Eating has been great, but here comes the big challenge. Vasectomy today. Let’s see how some downtime with little activity does for a few days. I’m thinking the weight loss will slow or maybe gain a little until I get active again. Tomorrow should be good since I have to fast most of today lol. But after that who knows. Hoping to be back to my regular routine in 2 weeks.

Just for the hell of it, yesterday I looked at my suit that I got married in. Last time I wore it I was 167 in 2013. I could get it on, but nowhere near fitting. If I could get back into that thing it would be incredible.

Did a little damage yesterday, but i has been the only real cheat day since we started.
Had a whopping 2 beers, but the chips, apps, and cheese, were hard to pass by.
I'm stuffed this morning, so a bit of fasting seems to be in order.
Cat woke me up around 3:00, and I had a hard time going back to sleep.
Just got up, so I'm already behind on the day!

Valentine's dinner Saturday night and Super Bowl party diet is not going to be kind to me on Wednesday's weigh in.

Not looking forward to it. All I can do is clean it up the next 2 days and pray.

Go all in and finish it off with White Castle, should end up a wash. Plus the calories you'll burn cleaning the toilet might put you ahead of the game.

Up from last nights V-Day dinner and activities, but that is kind of expected. That was my first beer/meal out in fifty days. Also didn’t get any physical activity Sunday in the rain or Monday as there was a contractor in my house, who will be at my house for the next two weeks installing windows/siding. Hoping I can get some rides in during the day.

Friday into Saturday I put 20 hours of work into the Jeep to get it ready for Utah, which I am VERY happy about - huge weight off my chest:
- new trans shifter seal
- service trans
- new trans cooler lines
- wrap exhaust with heat wrap to protect new trans cooler lines
- clean and degrease entire drivetrain from previous leak
- new water pump
- new thermostat
- new radiator - modify new radiator to work with tig welded mounts and new hose inlet
- new cooling fan/shroud. Modify said fan and shroud to fit new radiator
- wire fan
- the whole thing is custom, so the kind folks at the auto shop let me go through all their radiator hoses until I found two that would work. I modified the hoses and installed them
- cleaned up some questionable wiring

Post all of this we grilled steaks, lit a fire and enjoyed the spring like weather. Lots of Allaire last week.

Wednesday Weigh In, Week #7.

Like most of us, I didn't have the best week. My wife bought me Donuts and Reese's for Valentines. While I only ate 1 donut, I made myself sick eating an entire bag of Peanut Butter Cups. 🤢🤮🤢

Somehow I managed to weigh in EXACTLY on target today. 200.4 start - 186.4 today = 14lbs in 7 weeks. 1.4lbs away from ITI goal and then we'll see where I stand when I get back.

Hey @Johnny Utah I have a non weight loss question about Jeep stuff. Relevant only because of some of your pictures I shared with my brother in law who has an in progress jeep build. Have you ever heard of Jeepite before? Greek to me but I learned something new from my brother in law. Apparently Fordite is a thing too....chunks of paint from factory spray booths made into stuff. Incidentally his in progress jeep fits into his garage with 1/2" of clearance. He says by plan but I'm not so sure. Anyway. He found a guy who had Jeepite and had another guy put it into a mold and poured acrylic into it attempting to match his frame paint color. Same brother in law fancy's himself a wood worker and likes to turn things on a lathe. Out of a square of blue acrylic filled with "jeepite" he made himself a shifter knob and I'm fairly impressed. After learning a new term I thought Id just thought I'd share with a guy who speaks Jeep.

Very cool, that’s a woods shifter. I can’t put a photo up of my shifter, @Patrick would probably deem it inappropriate. I would too.
