Anybody use this brand to remove the haze off old light lens? Recall @rlb doing it years ago. How long does it last and how does it hold up to continued UV damage?View attachment 236253
I used this Turtle Wax kit a few years ago with what I thought was decent results. This car is long gone, but it held up for at least the next year that I had the car.

It’s really just a buffing compound, if you wanna get fancy you can use some light 2000-3000 grit and wet sand some before buffing. Unfortunately the UV is gone so it’ll come back but takes a little while. You’d have to clear over the lens to keep it from returning. Still only like 5 minutes worth of work to make a significant improvement and you can do it over and over.

#1 usefulness of the internet is tutorials

Went to get gas in the Nissan Titan pickup. Went to put in park. NOTHING. The column shifter just moved up and down freely. I panicked. F - thousands of dollars for a tranny. Stuck in drive so pull over at the gas station. Do some googling. A bushing link has aged and the shifter isn't connected to the transmission. Fortunately, have enough gas to make it home. Two days later $10 bushing arrives form the zon. A dead battery because the car was stuck in drive, car was off but couldn't pull key out. Totally dead battery (it was beyond it's end of life), swapped battery. $165 and 3 hrs later. Thank you internet! Vs waiting for a shop and hundred$ more.

Looking for recommendations for an Indy BMW shop near me. Live in Califon, work in Basking Ridge. 16 M4 according to Google I need a new valve cover/PCV valve. This site has always been a good source of info. Please help me out. I did call Em Power in Belvidere, they are 3 weeks out.

The BMW guys I'd recommend is Bimmer Clinic in South Amboy, but if you're dropping it there, you should order a Stage 2 Turbo Kit, you know, cause racecar.

@Carson - former BMW owner maybe has some car peeps he knows for this.

I never had my M2 out of warranty or needed anything, but the BMW forums are strong.

Oldwick Village Garage

Both are close by and I've heard good things about both.

I've had pretty good luck with Ziggy's in Somerville, but haven't had a BMW in a while. Vicari Motors in Branchburg is an option, expensive though. @THATmanMANNY ?

I’ve also heard good things but pricey.
Thanks. I will definitely give them a call.

Ordered some new brake pads and one arrived slightly damaged. Assuming this probably wouldn't cause any issues but still worth returning?
