I played a few times on the west coast and just found out that there are a few courses around here. I bought some discs and got the family out this weekend to Tyler State Park, in Newtown, PA. They have a impressive 27 "hole" course and we had a blast. It was great time for everyone, from Mom who throws about 40 yards at a time to some of us "driving" 2-300 yards.

It would be a cool addition at MCP

I've ridden at some parks that have them and i wondered what you do when they go in the water. Seems expensive to just have the discs getting lost.

the CR course is pretty fun. you take some shots through tight trees. the RU course is cool too - a little more open if i remember correctly.

Rutgers also has one.

Hence my dislike. Imagine stumbling to class half awake only to have some ass clown peek out from behind a bush and wing a frisbee in your face. We always thought those people were weird.

I wonder what people think of grown men in tights riding their bicycles in the woods?😕

I have never even heard of it untill this thread. I searched for the wiki and found this picture. ...

Whenever I saw the baskets on the side of trails I thought they were some kind trash can. Guess I was wrong. Sorry if anyone got pissed off finding garbage in the tymore baskets. Oops.

It's honestly the only golf I've ever played unless the driving range counts. Harry Dunham Park is wide open, and the course I've played most. Rutgers is fun but you have to look out for innocent bystanders, and we found the layout tough to follow the first time. Chimney Rock was the only place I almost lost discs - some of the undergrowth is really thick and I'm not always so accurate!

Haha, that's funny. I guess they are pretty unusual looking!

I will have to check out some of these other parks
