Annual TOS Shuttle Ride - May 22nd (*new date)

The Top Of Skyline shuttle is a point-to-point ride that starts on Skyline Drive in Ramapo State Forest. This year we'll finish just over the NY border on Sterling Mine Rd. There will be cars parked there so we can shuttle back to the starting point.

This is a fun but tough ride with a lot of climbing. We ride along the Ramapo ridge into Ringwood State Park, where we hit many of the best trails. The terrain is rocky and technical in many spots. I estimate a total distance of 16 miles this year.

The time, including breaks and shuttling back to the top, will be around 5 hours. There will be snacks and refreshments for anyone who can stay afterwards.

PM or post up if you want in. Vehicle logistics will be figured out closer to the date when we have a solid headcount. Hope to see you there!

Possibly - if I can get my act together. Put it on my calendar and will check in as we get closer.
 
I did a modified test run today. Excellent conditions minus a few blowdowns. Red trail, coming down from Cannonball is pretty blown out and rocky AF. 😬

Debating if I should move this to the 22nd…. 🤔 Right now it looks like rain on Sunday. Is anyone interested in doing this ride?
