Allaire Marathon

Well im back in, Singlespeed to win!! Well SS for fun really! Doing 34x19 to keep it fun for everyone. I dont have to work tomorrow so now i have some time to ride.

Awesome head count! We have all the food/drinks covered, but I have a feeling we could be low on supplies 🙂 Feel free to bring some extra to share. See you all tomorrow.

Found a crack in my drive side drop out on the SS, my hub needs a serious rebuild and I lack the press for the king hub.

Tightened the bottom bracket/crank. I am limping the beargrease tomorrow.

So what was the final miles? I bailed with Mitch and he had 27ish. My bike set up is all wrong for those trails way too much squish.

had a great local day on my trails but still bummed i didnt come over the bridge for this.
next time count me in, ill camp out somewhere 🙂

Started off as a massive group (25 riders?). Kept a steady not too slow not too fast pace.

Fedor did a phenomenal job organizing and sweeping. Huge thanks to Scott for leading.

Overall a great ride. Looking forward to the next one already.

Thanks to Jaime for a great job sweeping as well. had to be a very tough job trying to keep that group together through that twisty stuff.

btw, I checked out the ride in Strava using the "flyby" feature - pretty funny to see how the group got split and then came together over and over and over again. you can see Jamie and Fedor back tracking, etc. to get the group re-organized.

if you did the ride - do the "flyby" thing - press "play" and listen to the Benny Hill theme song = perfect match 🙂

My buddies and I had a great time following you guys around, on and off, for a couple of hours. I'll third the thanks to Jaime.

We scored some trail karma with some T.M. and fixed a chain for a solo rider that we ran into out there.

I wanted to leave a case of Coke at one of the cars when we got back to the lot, but had no idea which one to leave it by...

Thanks for organizing.

Great job guys, had a bunch of fun. @Uzzi_SL , fedor, @Mitch and everyone rlse did a great job. The ride went slower than i expected in the beginning( 32 miles in 5.5 hours) so i had to bail before the 50 but, twas a good ride with no major mechanicals. @Mitch did an impressive otb trying to avoid another downed rider, perfect form btw.
