it would eventually break and the whole thing would be leaning against the bridge.

A couple hours a couple times a year doesn't seem onerous - if there was a solution, other than a suspension bridge, i'd def go for it.
Maybe a train car bridge?

Been wondering if a submerged fence of some sort that acts like a stronger net would help? Not sure about epa concerns.

3 major cleanups/yr?

When there is a storm, a tree trunk or large branch will get stuck across the whole thing and quickly collect every small branch which comes down.

About an hour of preventative maintenance today -
had to get in front of the storm.

Snake swam by while I was tossing logs over the bridge.
Only two riders went through in the hour I was there.

So clear, i saw a perch.

After Ida in 2021, and the heavy rains since, plus keeping the tubes clear.......all of this sediment is gone.

It isn't really gone, it is 100' downstream.

Remembered the waders today.
One saw cut and about 30 minutes

Water seemed higher than it should be both days. Took a walk downstream and found multiple clogs before south middlebush. Prob should take a big picture look.
