6 Mile Run Conditions

Geez....no posts since Tuesday? Surprised. Assuming the place must be muddy but if someone’s out there a report would be great. Appreciated!

Look for heavy leaf cover which actually keeps the trail tread pretty dry. A. Iffy of mine was out and said it was actually pretty dry considering all the rain we’ve seen this week.

For anyone tempted, please do not leaf blow these trails. Leaves protect the fine sediment from accelerated runoff.

The leaves have kept the trail pretty dry considering the tsunami that came through this week. But is it okay to ride today. Pretty dry could be pretty far from rideable.

I was at 6MR today.... conditions were great. maybe 3 small puddles, but otherwise the trail was dry and great. I was leading some buddies that came from up north and hadn't ridden Six mile before... they loved it and couldn't believe how well maintained and built the trails were. I rode most of everything here and didn't see a busted bridge. Did you get over there and fix it already? JDog, you're awesome.

Will 6MR be ok around 8am tomorrow or 8am Sunday, or is that too early this time of year?
Gotta watch the freeze thaw this time of year. Even though relatively dry, You can get the grease on glass effect when it starts to thaw out when around freezing or areas that are in the sun. Most likely the canalside will be good and they’ll definitely be some Slick spot on the 27th side

Alright I guess i'll just skip it and stick to my local trails since morning will be the only times i'll be able to get out to any of them.

Btw does anyone do a Thanksgiving morning ride there? My mom lives across the road from the 27 side and that's where i'll be Thanksgiving morning so...
