Thanks, Dave. Much obliged.
Hey all...
Was out today and rode the blue to red than white and in reverse and the trails overall on the canal side were in nice shape.
There were a few puddles mostly near the water/creek/river on the blue trail after the bridge going back towards the canal lot.
Lots of people out there today even some families, some bikers some hikers and even a few knuckleheads on bikes with no helmets... 😕
There was one family (no helmets) whose dad was doing the raised bridge/wooden crooked path not far from the beginning of the blue path who took a nice tumble/otb on the bridge/wooden crooked path. Good thing he landed in the bushes and not on the wood. His wife commented, in a heavy southern accent, where is a video camera when you need one.
This is just what we need to get this place closed down. Awesome.
Rode the red and blue today. trials look great, just a few muddy areas. perfect weather too. trails through most of the meadows need to be trimmed, getting a bit long...
saw a few riders with no helmets today...reminded them that they need them, but all i got as a "yeah, we need to get some..."
We and a few tandem friends rode 6 mile today and were surprised at the amazing amount of trail work that has been done there since the last time we were there. The new bridge work is awesome and Pat my wife emphatically thanks you as our last trip she went off the side of one of the bridges on the back of the tandem close to the Canal Rd side and cracked 2 ribs due to a plank/log not being nailed down. To say she was happy to see the new ones is an understatement. The trails are in great shape on both sides of S. Middlebush.
Thanks to Jason and his crew for all your hard work!

I have to keep tandems in mind when I build my next big bridge in a few weeks.
anyone been over lately? any idea on how wet and or flooded it is?
