6 Mile Run Conditions

If you go muddin' please let me know where you see fallen trees. I will be out next week to clear em.

Tested the waters today. Twisties was slick then it started to get wet on red. Turned back before middlebush. Just a few small branches down here and there that can be handled with a small saw. As for the canal side, I dont know. Looks like theres a chance it will be ridable by the weekend.

Just got back. Did canal rd blue to white to jacques to red back to canal rd. (Didn't have alot of time today) Trails are in pretty good shape except for the usual wet areas. Get out and ride this weekend as they will only get better.

JASON,

There are some cedars after BWM Rd that have leaned completely over the trail. You have to dismount and fight your way thru them. On white not to far from the lot at Jacques there are some cedars that also have leaned over the trail. Those you can get by but not without ducking and getting smacked.
Nice job on the platform moguls (if thats what they are) Very cool to hit with some speed. Thanks as usual for all the work you do.

Just did a loop. Lots of mud in the usual places and chose to carry my bike around a decent amount.

Only remember two sections with downed trees blocking the trail. There was one on the S Middlebush side right near the road. Another by the boadwalk near Blackwells Mills.

Just came back from red -> orange -> blue and back. Was muddy but not bad enough not to ride. Couple of sections you may wanna go around. Had a few wipe outs due to leaves and lack of skill. Did a hard over the bar face plant which I'm sure will leave every part of my body in pain tomorrow.

trails were awesome and fast should of ate a little more today legs begain to cramp up the last 3 tenths after going from 27 lot to canal rd lot and back to 27 lot.

Yeah it was a nice night to be out... Somebody was busy with a chainsaw so that we could keep our mojo flowing... Thanks for that🙂

Ran the saw a bit and did some digging today.

Such a sweet day to be outside.

Nice Day

Rode today. It was good. Muddy in some spots. Wiped out twice because of my ineptitude. I had a great workout.

Does anybody know about how far six mile is from morristown,

this is tricky, about 45 min with no traffic. more with traffic.
When driving here you want to go in off peak hours, even the weekends can be busy on the roads to this place.

If going on wknd go early. During the week hit it before or after commuting hours.

Go

I feel if you are going for the 1st time, just go whenever, it is a great ride. It will put a smile on your face. J Dog and the folks that take care of it do a stand up job and to them I say Thank You.

Rode Canal road loop yesterday afternoon - excellent conditions, no major obstacles except for the occasional horseback rider and poo pile.
