Serious? You guys pump thru rocks?
Serious? You guys pump thru rocks?
Can't pump over rocks...
How do think I get through Pickle at Wayway without ending up on my ass..lol.Serious? You guys pump thru rocks?
I'm talking HM rock garden. Small to medium size with some spacing between them.. i get... but not if they are barely any space between themRocks are just rollers with dirt on top !
You can pump anything if you're brave enough...wait, that didn't come out right...Serious? You guys pump thru rocks?
If you don’t pump while powering thru you will otbIm talking about rocks where if you dont power thru... they will send you otb
What I was saying is that when I drop it, I drop it all the way down. When I raise it, i sometimes stop it before full up, if the situation warrants it.Arnold is saying his dropper is fully down or up
Doesn’t have to be high speed to pump, you look for momentum off anything...Im talking about rocks where if you dont power thru... they will send you otb
Pumping... i thought is no pedaling? If you don’t pump while powering thru you will otb
You 100% can pump while pedaling, that's where a dropped seat helps.Pumping... i thought is no pedaling?
If i am in an all descent... i guess i put the saddle down fully.... like Creek. But if there are parts where it levels off, just half way or soWhat I was saying is that when I drop it, I drop it all the way down. When I raise it, i sometimes stop it before full up, if the situation warrants it.
Then that was the confusion on my part. Was thinking pumping was no pedaling all at. What youre describing... is just balancing and shifting weight and preload. You 100% can pump while pedaling, that's where a dropped seat helps.
That's what pumping is, shifting your weight to lighten when going up and get heavier when going down. Using gravity to your advantage. It is easier to do without pedaling but you can do it while you are. Then that was the confusion on my part. Was thinking pumping was no pedaling all at. nah... I get it.That's what pumping is, shifting your weight to lighten when going up and get heavier when going down. Using gravity to your advantage. It is easier to do without pedaling but you can do it while you are.
It makes sense in my head, I hope it's coming out right.
Depends on how many burritos...nah... I get it.
I guess I had the wrong definition. I thought you guys had nitrous coming out of your arses for a sec 😀
I don't have too much problems with rock gardens... well not more than most avg mtber I guess. I might even venture out to say that I am prolly better than many OOZERS in the tech. I do admit I need to get better at pumping (without pedaling)You need more pump track time Paul. Let's plan an OOS PJ pump track mission. It's even paved, so no issues with the SixMile puddle police ! It'll be fun !
Now as far as pumping...yeah...usually not while pedaling. Rock gardens ? Attack with some momentum while spotting your line, then roll into it, getting light to get on top of the rocks, and pushing down the backsides just like a roller.
