I will only be able to do the 8 hour, if that. My son is due back at college that Sunday. Allamuchy is some good good trails.

Like just about everyone I wasn't planning on doing this year's race. However, I am a little sad with hearing about the death of Allamuchy this morning. It was my first mountain bike race when I did it in '06 and really where the addiction began.

Yeah, it is sad. That race in 2000 was what started my love for the Allamuchy trails. Those night laps seemed almost surreal at the time.

It is a shame about the race. I was going to try grannygear big bear race this year too but that was cancelled
